Advisory: TechCrunch Readies a Huge “Disruption” on West Side Pier

Next week's three-day "Disrupt" conference on a Manhattan Hudson River pier is on target to pass last year's attendee mark of 1,800, says Erick Schonfeld co-editor of TechCrunch, organizer of the event.  It will be "huge," he tells Beet.TV.

A big focus of the conference will be the launch of some 30 start-ups from around the world which have been selected from 500 applicants, says Schonfeld in this interview with Beet.TV.

Disrupt will start this weekend with a "Hackathon" involving some 700 participants.

In addition to tech luminaries, there will be celebrities including Ashton Kutcher and Charlie Rose.

Beet.TV will be there.
